Dead Mule Southern School of Literature!

Dead Mule: The title of a wonderfully produced literary journal I've been reading for a few years now. Helen Losse, the Poetry Editor has pulled together another spectacularly diverse collection of literature(fiction, poetry, essays) for April. And, since April is National Poetry Month, she's chosen an extensive array of poets, including South Carolina Poet Laureate-- Marjory Wentworth, also, David Need, Harry Calhoun, and a slew of other well-known names. And "yours truly" was included in this edition, too...What a great feeling for me, to be included among such talent!

Speaking of poetry, it's not too late to hit the Poetic Asides(Blog courtesy Robert Lee Brewer, and Writers' Digest) contest, Poem-A-Day, for April.
