Saturday morning at Atlanta's Central Library, and the GLBTQ LIterary Fest, was truly uplifting--I was fortunate to hear a wide variety of voices--Larry Corse, Reginald Jackson, and Cleo Creech were stellar, and Megan Volpert was particularly entertaining...
I was fortunate to have my parents there-- being supportive listeners-- and ol pal, Danny M. was there too, having driven us to the library.
After the morning session, I headed home to make "Oktoberfest Tomatoes" as I now call them--that's vine-ripes drizzled with exra-virg olive oil, with bits of cheese(I use smoked gouda and/or sharp provolone) and topped with FRESH, chopped herbs(I like dill, thyme, and basil).Bake at 350 degrees, for 15-20. Serve bubbling hot!
YUM!
Anyhoo, we(Dad and I, and pal Danny)headed to the neighborhood's Chili-Cookoff. Really festive & fun! Stacie A., my fitness guru neighbor, won for BEST CHILI!

Sunday, Hansoo treated my Daddy to Korean meal at a restaurant in (where else?) Gwinnett County...
Dad left this morning(Monday, October 29th--his 71st birthday!).I wept as he drove off...It feels like he never stays long enough to visit...

Tonight was our first read-through of the "Lend Me An Ear" production...
REMEMBER:
The show is ONE NIGHT ONLY--Monday, November 12th, at Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern.
It's a family-friendly, entertaining show, with lots of special effects--just like an old-time Radio Show--and performed LIVE in front of you!!
tickets are only $15.00 and ALL THE MONEY goes to The Atlanta Community Food Bank, to feed families during the Holidays!

It's nearly Tuesday, so go get ready for Halloweenie!
