I had a great afternoon on Tuesday. Lunch at Manuel's for the Georgia Production Partnership meeting. College buddy and new friend, Derek met me there and was genuinely surprised at the amount of (film, tv) work which is now flourishing in Georgia.
Took notes, chatted with Helen, from SAG-AFTRA board.
Later, a lovely meetup with Coral and "Charis Books" ( I bought two copies of poet Megan Volpert's "Sonics in Warholia"; Charis is THE Indie Bookstore for LGBTQ and all women) and then a walk through a cute shop called "Beehive" in Little Five Points area.; "Beehive" had hand-baked doggie treats from Decatur's "TajMaHound" Bakery ( I got half-priced Easter treats for my doggies).
Later, we found some (baked for people)....
Mini-cupcakes for Coral and I: Orange Chiffon cake. 2 cupcakes to-go for Hansoo: Peanut Butter/Chocolate, and Pink Lemonade.
I arrived home to find Hansoo resting, the doggies restless, and me-- relaxed.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
Peace, kids.

i think sometimes in the modern world of corporate all-under-one-roofers we forget how awesome some of these small, specialist shops can be
You'll have to answer a question for me though, I'm pretty sure what LGBT stands for, but Q? New one on me
Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer or Questioning
And yes, Pixies, the little boutiques and specialty shops are the most fun!I love supporting small, independent businesses. :)
