Feeling a bit like a hermit, but that's about to change. I've spent most of the past six months auditioning, working as an actor, and writing, re-writing and editing, the following: my original book, "Words From Water: Poems"; a second collection, "The Book of O: The Orgasm Poems"; a short-story; a children's book; two plays; and...the beginnings of something(it's still in "pieces") which may become a screenplay.
Next up: joining (and in some cases, re-newing membership)several writers' groups.
I'm also planning to do lots of meet-ups with everyone I've neglected, very soon.
My Mom--Demetra. My Dad--John R. All my "in-town" friends. Several friends and cousins who live in California, who'll be visiting later this summer. David Herrle--Hi there!It's up to me to submit or self-publish the books(the first("Words From Water: Poems") had a great "release" at Callanwolde Arts Center, two years ago, but I never lulu'ed it/put a cover on it(I'm thinking of using pics from childhood)so it's still a self-bound manuscript.
"The Book Of O: The Orgasm Poems" needs a publisher/press that is comfortable with somewhat sexy language, graphic literary descriptions of sex, etc..
